Residents and staff enjoyed attending a very special Mad Hatters tea party at Springhill Care Home as part of National Dementia Awareness Week.
The occasion included giant bowling sets and a small competition, with plenty of cakes, tea and coffee along with music and an all-round good time.
We’ve now totalled up the money raised for the Alzheimer’s Society as part of the awareness week, and the home will be donating £100.
We will continue to raise awareness and to donate to this great cause, one which is so close to all our hearts.
