Easter, a time to reflect at Springhill Care Home

on .

Residents at Springhill Care Home have been busy this week creating some beautiful bunting to decorate the Home for Easter.  It never ceases to amaze everyone how gifted and talented people are, and the Home looks colourful and bright in time for our Easter celebrations.

For many people Easter is a time to revisit the Christian message of Resurrection and hope, and during these last days of Holy Week many of us have taken time to reflect on the great events that surrounded Jerusalem 2000 years ago.

Because of this many of our residents are looking forward to the opening of our chapel, which is part of the final phase of our extensive refurbishment.  This will create a much needed environment where people can use this sacred space to reflect, pray, or simply have some quiet  time alone or with others.  As Spirituality is high on the Government’s agenda to encompass holistic care, Springhill is once again at the forefront of new initiatives, providing access to services which people have often enjoyed throughout their lives.

Happy Easter to you all.
