James cooks up award

Our chef at Springhill Care Home, James Howarth has all the ingredients of becoming a huge success.

 

James, 22, who lives in Clayton-le-Moors, has been named the Apprentice of the Year from his tutors, proving that his hard work and dedication was worth it.

 

This outstanding achievement has been rewarded with a special presentation ceremony during which James received his Certificate and Special Award with a host of congratulations from his tutors.

 

At Springhill, we also held our own presentation for James accompanied by an excellent bottle of champagne to celebrate with his friends and mark the success.

 

Theresa Swan, general manager at Springhill, said: “This award is testimony to James’s dedication and skill. He is doing a great job at Springhill – and I know all the residents would agree from the comments of satisfaction we get about his food.”
