The Clitheroe Ukulele Club had everyone clapping along with a great performance at Springhill Care Home recently, and the visit included a touching reunion.
The club, full of players of all ages, dropped by to perform to a packed room, and as well as Ukuleles featured instruments including flutes and washboards.
Everyone had a great time, and the event saw club member Kevin Cooney of Baxenden, near Accrington, reunite with Springhill resident Annie Catlow. The pair were friends as youngsters, and would apparently ride the famed Blackpool Belle tram when they were children.
Our residents and staff sang along and joined in the fun including playing a tambourine, and a great day was had by all.
