Staff grinned and bared their legs for a sponsored waxing recently.
The ‘lucky’ volunteers were Alistair Francis, one of our care home care staff, James Howarth from the kitchens, and Simon Taylor, a carer from the specialist care centre.
Relative Eunice Holmes generously donated £10 and enjoyed ripping hairs from the brave young men!
The special event took place as part of our Dementia Awareness Week 2015 activities, and money raised is going to the Alzheimer’s Society.
