As part of the Dementia Awareness Week activities that took place here at Springhill Care Home last week, residents and staff enjoyed their very own bake off.
All kinds of goodies from chocolate croissants, cookies, buns and fruit scones were whipped up, and a special Bailey’s cheesecake kindly made by the daughter of one of our nurses was also on the menu.
The lifestyle team also travelled the home with a tea trolley selling all the cakes to donate towards the Alzheimer’s Society.
