Inspiring Support from Nicola
Nicola Day has joined the lifestyle support team at our Specialist Care Centre, bringing with her a host of skills and knowledge that is already proving popular.
Nicola, who joins us after spending some time running her own business, designs beautiful and creative crafts for people with dementia.
Playing a vital role and making use of our Old Curiosity Shop, Nicola has a real skill with crafts and in particular sewing.
Every day it’s delightful to see Nicola and several residents busy at tables, being assisted to use the sewing machine or rummaging through materials.
We’ve loved the bunting and other colourful creations and can’t wait to see what Nicola comes up with next.
It seems there is no end to her talents and we’re so glad she is sharing them with all of us at Springhill.
