A Warm Welcome to Gail

Many of you will have already met Gail Fagan, our new dementia services manager leading the talented team at the Specialist Care Centre.

 

Gail has joined us from a previous role as a clinical lead at Thistle Manor, a residential care home in Clitheroe.

 

She has a wealth of experience in the care sector, having qualified as a nurse more than 30 years ago, and even operated her own care home for the long-term mentally ill, Azalea House in Blackburn, for 10 years.

 

At Springhill, she will be responsible for developing and managing the large group of staff with responsibilities for looking after our residents with dementia.

 

Gail has already settled into her new role well, and her bubbly personality and wealth of knowledge and experience is exactly what we need to move our person-centered care forward.

 

I’m sure everyone will join me in making her feel very welcome at Springhill.
